Park Seo-jin's father delivered a touching proposal to his wife.
The episode aired on KBS2's 'Salim Nam Season 2' on the afternoon of the 18th, depicting the Seo-jin family's last trip to Hong Kong.
In this episode, Seo-jin's father prepared a jade ring and jade necklace for his wife. While his wife was enjoying the night view alone, he said, "Yumi~ Let's do what couples do for the rest of our lives. Let's propose," looking at her intently. When his wife asked, "Why are you proposing?" he replied, "Because I love you!" leaving a romantic remark.
He then said, "I will propose on my knees. Thank you for raising our children well and living with me," as he slipped the ring onto his wife's finger. After singing a serenade and putting the jade necklace around her neck, he confessed, "If I am born again in this world, will you marry me again?" His wife responded, "What is all this? I understand," and hugged him tightly.
Seo-jin's mother shared her feelings in an interview, saying, "It's the first time I've received such a proposal in 32 years of marriage, and it was so nice. He thanked me for marrying him and going through hardships together. We both went through the same struggles. We are soulmates. If we get married again, you should meet someone better than me." In response, Seo-jin's father confessed his straightforward feelings, saying, "I like you, my dear."
