'Taxi Driver 3', which brought the K-Dark Hero syndrome, has confirmed its scheduling for November 21.

SBS's new Friday-Saturday drama 'Taxi Driver 3' (written by Oh Sang-ho / directed by Kang Bo-seung / produced by Studio S, Group Eight, and BA Entertainment) is based on the webtoon of the same name. It is a private revenge agency drama where the taxi company Rainbow Transportation and taxi driver Kim Do-gi take revenge on behalf of unjust victims.

With the confirmation of the main cast including Lee Je-hoon, Kim Eui-sung, Pyo Ye-jin, Jang Hyuk-jin, and Bae Yu-ram, it heralds the return of a fundamentally sound cider hero.

The 'Taxi Driver' series has established itself as an irreplaceable cider hero story through its unique setting of 'a taxi driver taking revenge on behalf of unjust victims', showcasing thrilling action and exhilarating revenge dramas that represent the pain of the socially weak.

As the series progressed, the character play and relationships of the Rainbow Transportation family, including Kim Do-gi (played by Lee Je-hoon), CEO Jang (played by Kim Eui-sung), Go Eun (played by Pyo Ye-jin), Chief Choi (played by Jang Hyuk-jin), and Chief Park (played by Bae Yu-ram), provided a variety of entertainment. The series also reexamined crimes such as the sharing of sexual exploitation materials, cults, and club gate incidents, presenting a social message that resonates with the times, differentiating itself from existing crime action dramas.

As a result, 'Taxi Driver' recorded a viewership rating of 21%, ranking 5th among all domestic terrestrial and cable dramas aired after 2023, establishing itself as a mega-hit IP and a successful example of a Korean seasonal drama.

Moreover, it has not only captivated domestic audiences but also global viewers, ranking first as the most-watched work in 16 countries worldwide on Asia's largest OTT platform, Viu, just ten days after its release. It also won the Best Drama Series award at the 28th Asian Television Awards (ATA), the most prestigious media awards in Asia, showcasing its unique presence as a representative hit of 'K-Caper' dramas.

The released poster delivers a strong impact with the Rainbow Transportation logo returning after two years and the phrase 'The third operation begins', igniting the adrenaline of viewers who have been waiting for the return of the K-Dark Hero.

Additionally, the silhouette of the newly upgraded vehicle '5283', which is Do-gi's beloved car in the drama, is also revealed, raising expectations for the overwhelming scale and intense narrative of 'Taxi Driver 3'.

Meanwhile, 'Taxi Driver 3', selected as a production support project by the Ministry of Science and ICT and the Korea Communications Agency (KCA) in 2025, is set to premiere on November 21. Furthermore, 'Taxi Driver 3' will be available through Viu, the largest regional OTT platform in Asia, the Middle East, and Africa.
