The new boy band AMP (AxMxP) from FNC Entertainment mentioned their differences from previous idol bands.
AMP is a four-member band consisting of vocalist Ha Yoo-jun, guitarist Kim Shin, drummer Crew, and bassist Joo Hwan. The team name, an abbreviation for Amplify Music Power, embodies their ambition to maximize the power of music and shake the world with their energy.
AMP is a new band launched by FNC Entertainment, a well-known ‘band powerhouse’ that has produced top bands like FT Island, CNBLUE, and N.Flying, after a 10-year hiatus.
Regarding being compared to their senior groups, AMP expressed, “The title of being an FNC band is overwhelming. We have been practicing all night and have come this far with just our passion,” showing their confidence.
They continued, “We believe we are a team with a distinct color. Each song conveys different musical colors and messages. Our music spectrum is diverse, including hip-hop and more,” emphasizing their differentiation from other bands.
AMP is debuting with a full-length album filled with 10 tracks, which is unusual for a rookie. There are three title tracks: the intense hip-hop-based rock track ‘I Did It’, the lively punk rock song ‘Shocking Drama’, and the emotive rock ballad ‘You Make Me a Poet’ that leaves a lingering impression, showcasing AMP's diverse charm.
AMP's debut album will be released on various music sites at 6 PM today. Following that, they will hold a debut show ‘AMP On’ for fans at the same location at 7:30 PM.
