The new tvN weekend drama 'Typhoon Company' (directed by Lee Na-jung and Kim Dong-hwi, written by Jang Hyun) depicted the historical background of the IMF crisis.
During the broadcast, a reporter attempted to interview about the differing perspectives of the older and younger generations towards society. When asked by the reporter what he thought about the "Orange Generation," Kang Taepung (played by Lee Junho) responded, "Oranges are very refreshing as they are the fruit of the tangerine tree. But I don't understand why they add 'generation' to it."
When the reporter asked, "So, do you consider yourselves the Orange Generation or just Generation X?" Wang Nam-mo (played by Kim Min-seok) exclaimed, "Is this going to be on TV? Then let me say something. Mom, I love you! Kim Eul-nyeo, I love you! Go Korea!"
Afterward, Kang Taepung and his friends, already famous in the club, received cheers from everyone as they moved forward. They then showcased a synchronized dance that heated up the venue.

At that moment, Kang Taepung's father, President Kang Jin-young (played by Seong Dong-il), entered the police station. Pyo Yeon-jun's father is the representative of a container shipping company, Pyo Bak-ho (played by Kim Sang-ho). Kang Jin-young said, "Mr. Pyo! That day, Taepung visited Yoon Seong's (played by Yang Byeong-yeol) house. Although there was no response when he rang the doorbell, Yoon Seong appeared in the alley, and Taepung chased after him. He said, "Yoon Seong, it's Taepung! What big trouble? I'll stop it all," expressing that he missed him. Yoon Seong replied, "Taepung, don't trust people too much. We trusted people and ended up like this. Money and people are gone," to which Taepung retorted, "What are you talking about? Take this, you brat," handing over his wallet, necklace, bracelet, and everything that could be worth money.

He sent all the money he had in Italy, explaining the difficult situation. Kang Jin-young said, "I will do my best to ensure that you all receive your wages on time. Later, as Kang Jin-young entered the office, he collapsed and was taken to the hospital. At that moment, Wang Nam-mo found Kang Taepung, who was confronting Pyo Yeon-jun at a nightclub, and shouted, "Why aren't you checking your beeper, you brat! Hurry to the hospital!"
