Hwang Hee-tae, the new boss and national judo team coach, is set to appear on ‘Sadangui’.
On the 12th, KBS2’s ‘The Boss’s Ears Are Donkey Ears’ (hereafter ‘Sadangui’) will feature Hwang Hee-tae, known as the Ma Dong-seok of the judo world, sharing stories from his journey as a gold medalist to a powerful detective.
Hwang Hee-tae reveals, “I squat with 310KG, deadlift 270KG, and bench press 180KG,” surprising Jeon Hyun-moo. He continues, “In the early days as a coach, I used to demonstrate in front of the athletes, but now if the coach performs better than the athletes, it demotivates them, so I don’t show demonstrations these days,” showcasing his impressive persona as a ‘Sadangui’ character.
To prove his power, he spontaneously performs squats in various poses, such as holding Jeong Ho-young like a princess or a baby, eliciting intense cheers from the studio audience. Jeong Ho-young exclaims, “I’ve never felt like this before,” showing a somewhat bewildered expression that brings laughter.
While watching a video of Hwang Hee-tae winning a gold medal in the past, Jeon Hyun-moo keenly points out the changes. When Kim Sook remarks, “Your face has changed a lot,” Jeon Hyun-moo responds, “I can’t recognize him because he’s been gaining and losing weight, and changing his appearance.” Hwang Hee-tae candidly admits, “I lost weight for beauty reasons. I wanted to look handsome,” which brings laughter.
Hwang Hee-tae reveals that his previous job was as a powerful detective, surprising everyone. He states, “I became a detective after overcoming a 10 to 1 competition rate. I wanted to be a detective like Ma Dong-seok,” confirming his status as the Ma Dong-seok of the judo world. He shares a story about how he once swiftly apprehended a criminal who was trying to avoid getting into a police car. Jeon Hyun-moo acknowledges Hwang Hee-tae’s power, saying, “The crime city isn’t exaggerated,” drawing parallels between Hwang Hee-tae and Ma Dong-seok.
‘Sadangui’ airs every Sunday at 4:40 PM.
