The first episode of tvN's ‘Where beans are planted, beans grow, laughter and happiness overseas exploration (directed by Na Young-seok, Ha Mu-seong, Shim Eun-jung)’ (hereinafter referred to as ‘Kong Kong Pang Pang’) will air on the 17th, and they released a preview video showcasing an unpredictable self-sufficient exploration in Mexico.
The video features Lee Kwang-soo, Kim Woo-bin, and Do Kyung-soo, who have worked hard from farming to cafeteria duties, as they finally set off on their overseas exploration after much effort, illustrated by the phrases ‘Where beans are planted, beans grow’ and ‘Where beans are planted, beans grow, and when you eat rice, you gain strength’.
The unexpected situations, such as communication issues with locals due to language barriers or not being able to pass through gates, raise curiosity about how the three will navigate these challenges.
Additionally, an incident occurs that hurts Lee Kwang-soo's feelings. When Kim Woo-bin asks whether to order cheese quesadilla or chicken quesadilla, Lee Kwang-soo chooses chicken, but Do Kyung-soo orders the cheese quesadilla, saying, “Since we eat chicken enchiladas, let’s go with cheese quesadilla.”
In response, Lee Kwang-soo shows a bewildered reaction, saying, “Didn’t I say chicken?” raising expectations for their bickering chemistry that will continue in Mexico.
