Singer Tae Jin-ah expressed his longing for Song Dae-kwan.

In the episode of TV Chosun's 'Food Traveler Heo Young-man' aired on the 21st, singer Tae Jin-ah appeared as a guest and visited Seocheon, Chungcheongnam-do with MC Heo Young-man.

After moving to Seoul, Tae Jin-ah revealed that he had done a total of 37 different jobs, from delivering food for a Chinese restaurant to selling newspapers, shining shoes, and working at a car wash. He shared, "While working at a sushi restaurant, I sang while serving, and someone said, 'Your voice is unique. Try singing once,' and gave me a business card. That person was composer Seo Seung-il," recounting his entry into the entertainment industry.

Tae Jin-ah mentioned that he considers himself a learned singer, while naming innate singers like Lee Mi-ja, Na Hoon-a, and Cho Yong-pil.

When Heo Young-man asked, "Was the late Song Dae-kwan also learned?" Tae Jin-ah replied, "Senior Song Dae-kwan is neither innate nor learned, but in between," which drew laughter.

Tae Jin-ah then expressed his longing, saying, "Whenever I talk about Senior Song Dae-kwan, I miss him."

He added, "I will only forget Senior Song Dae-kwan when I die; otherwise, he will always be in my heart."

Heo Young-man comforted him, saying, "He must have gone ahead and secured a good spot," to which Tae Jin-ah replied, "I had told him to secure a good spot anyway."

The late Song Dae-kwan, who was famously known as Tae Jin-ah's close companion in the music industry, passed away suddenly last February at the age of 79. According to his family, Song Dae-kwan had complained of feeling unwell the day before and visited the emergency room at Seoul National University Hospital, where he died of a heart attack during treatment.

At the funeral of the late Song Dae-kwan, Tae Jin-ah said, "Goodbye, Dae-kwan. You will always be my eternal rival," leaving many people deeply moved.
