In 'Kkokkomu', we accompany the courageous struggle of Grandmother Choi Mal-ja, a victim of 'forced kiss', who achieved a not guilty verdict after 61 years through a retrial, revealing every detail of the process so far.

The SBS entertainment program 'Kkokkomu' airing on the 18th tells the story of Grandmother Choi Mal-ja's retrial, who was wrongfully convicted of aggravated injury after resisting a sexual assault by biting the perpetrator's tongue in an attempt to fight back.

Notably, 'Kkokkomu' is the only program that accompanied Grandmother Choi Mal-ja's trial, capturing the historic process of the not guilty verdict on the 10th. Additionally, listeners Red Velvet's Wendy, actress Kim Nam-hee, and announcer Park Sun-young will join to share in Grandmother Choi Mal-ja's journey.

The incident dates back to 1964 in a village in Gyeongnam. At that time, 18-year-old Grandmother Choi Mal-ja resisted a young man's sexual assault by biting his tongue. However, she was countercharged with 'aggravated injury'. Ultimately, she was sentenced to 10 months in prison with a 2-year probation, becoming a representative case where self-defense was not recognized.

The judgment at that time included a statement suggesting that she 'may have contributed to inciting the kiss', which enraged listeners. Shockingly, during the trial, the judge asked Grandmother Choi Mal-ja, "Do you not consider marrying the young man who assaulted you?" and "Did you not have feelings for him from the beginning?", leaving everyone in disbelief.

In response, Grandmother Choi Mal-ja bravely applied for a retrial after 56 years, but the first retrial was dismissed. After repeated appeals, 61 years after the incident, the prosecution sought a not guilty verdict for Grandmother Choi Mal-ja.

With Grandmother Choi Mal-ja's cry of "I have overcome", the final not guilty verdict was confirmed on September 10, marking a brave step that recognized self-defense after 61 years in a case where it was previously denied.

This entire moving journey is uniquely shared by 'Kkokkomu', which will reveal it in this broadcast. The main broadcast of 'Kkokkomu', containing the behind-the-scenes of Grandmother Choi Mal-ja's historic journey, raises expectations.

Meanwhile, 'Kkokkomu' is a program where three 'storytellers' share their insights with their 'story friends' in the most ordinary spaces, airing every Thursday at 10:20 PM.
