Actors Ha Seung-ri and Hyun-woo showcase their affectionate chemistry as a couple.
KBS1's new daily drama ‘Mari and the Unusual Dads’ (directed by Seo Yong-soo, written by Kim Hong-joo) tells the story of Mari's quest to find her dad! It depicts the birth of an unusual family that is thicker than blood and more tenacious than sperm.
Ha Seung-ri plays the role of the girl head of the family, Kang Mari, who naturally acquires resilience and determination while living with her childish family, while Hyun-woo takes on the role of Lee Gang-se, a warm-hearted person with a soft yet strong inner self. The two, who developed their love from being medical school seniors, face an unexpected turmoil when they learn that Mari has "three dads."
In the meantime, the release of a two-shot still featuring the affectionate chemistry between Ha Seung-ri and Hyun-woo raises expectations.
In the released stills, Ha Seung-ri and Hyun-woo gaze at each other with sweet, honeyed looks that make viewers flutter, and their posture leaning on each other in the car shows the deepening trust in their relationship.
In another still, Ha Seung-ri and Hyun-woo embrace each other tightly, but their eyes seem lost in different thoughts, creating an air of uncertainty. The tension rises as to whether the two can overcome the huge events that lie ahead with the power of love.
The production team of ‘Mari and the Unusual Dads’ stated, “Ha Seung-ri and Hyun-woo are perfectly embodying the image of a loving couple with their great chemistry,” and added, “We ask for a lot of interest and anticipation for the events and episodes they will experience together.”
‘Mari and the Unusual Dads’ will premiere on October 13 as a follow-up to ‘Catch the Big Luck.’
