In the latest episode of ‘Solo Tour 4’, Kim Jun-ho showcased the ‘power of newlyweds’ by receiving affectionate responses from Kim Ji-min during the ‘Wife Text Game’, while ‘Dad of three’ Hong In-kyu faced humiliation, bringing laughter to the audience.
In the 16th episode of Channel S’s ‘Nidon Naesan Solo Tour 4’ aired on the 13th, Kim Dae-hee, Kim Jun-ho, Jang Dong-min, Yoo Se-yoon, and Hong In-kyu embarked on a ‘cost-effective two-in-one trip’ to Singapore and Bintan Island in Indonesia with special guest Ha Seung-jin. The 221cm tall Ha Seung-jin humorously responded to the playful antics of the ‘Solo Tour’ members who eyed him as ‘prey’, while also expressing disbelief at the relentless ‘Solo Spirit’, making viewers laugh out loud.
Previously, the ‘Solo Tour’ members, who had traveled to Kazakhstan, mentioned wanting to invite celebrities to join the show, bringing up former basketball player Ha Seung-jin. He gladly accepted the ‘Solo Tour’ members' invitation and a few days later, they officially began their tour together at Singapore's Changi International Airport. Hong In-kyu expressed surprise, saying, “Everyone is just looking at Seung-jin,” while Yoo Se-yoon quipped, “Isn’t Seung-jin more fascinating than Singapore?” Shortly after, they took a taxi to their accommodation for the first night.
Upon arriving at an eco-friendly hotel made from containers, Kim Dae-hee exclaimed, “Wow! This is luxurious. But I think the accommodation fee will be expensive,” showing signs of nervousness. Hong In-kyu, who booked the hotel, explained, “It’s cheap to sleep six people for 640,000 won in high-cost Singapore,” and Ha Seung-jin suggested playing a ‘Accommodation Fee Game’ but wanted to try a ‘Spider-Man Throwing’ game instead. The ‘Solo Tour’ members then engaged in a six-person tournament, and after an unpredictable match, Kim Dae-hee ended up in last place. Ha Seung-jin joyfully remarked, “Wow, this is all real!” and later, despite the bed being cramped for the 221cm tall player, he happily squeezed himself in to sleep.
The next morning, the ‘Solo Tour’ members and Ha Seung-jin packed their bags and headed to Bintan Island, known as the ‘hidden gem of Indonesia’ and just an hour away by ferry from Singapore. Before boarding the ferry, they decided to have breakfast at a famous ‘Bak Kut Teh’ (local pork rib soup) restaurant and played a ‘Taxi Fare Game’ in a quiet park. At this time, the ‘Solo Tour’ members secretly proposed a ‘Bag Pass Game’ without Ha Seung-jin’s knowledge, and he innocently participated, showcasing an unexpected play by intercepting the bags being passed around with his long arms. A flustered Hong In-kyu lamented, “This was a game we planned in advance, but we lost to Seung-jin. He’s a game genius,” and ultimately, Jang Dong-min ended up being the one who had to pay.
After the game, the six ordered various dishes at the ‘Bak Kut Teh’ restaurant, which has been recognized by the Michelin Bib Gourmand for nine consecutive years. When Ha Seung-jin tried to check the prices, Yoo Se-yoon snatched the menu away, saying, “Don’t look at it, it’ll ruin your appetite,” to which Kim Jun-ho remarked, “It’s funny how little guys like us scold someone big like Seung-jin.” Then, Hong In-kyu chimed in, “I’ve scolded many juniors before,” and shouted, “Seung-jin! When the older guys are eating, you should get up and take care of the spoons and cups!” causing an uproar.
After finishing their meal in a cheerful atmosphere, they simultaneously sent text messages to their wives asking, “When do I look the ugliest?” and played a ‘Meal Cost Game’ where the person who received the most recent reply would be the one to pay.
The first to receive a reply, Kim Jun-ho, was pleased with Kim Ji-min’s response, “(Usually) never, but sometimes when I have white hair…” Following him, Kim Dae-hee reacted to his wife’s reply, “You look like an elementary school kid when you sulk and don’t do anything when you’re angry,” saying, “Isn’t this a sign that she wants to fight?” Ha Seung-jin shared with a bittersweet smile, “My wife said I look the ugliest when I’m playing the guitar with my mouth open.” Jang Dong-min’s wife replied, “When you don’t treat me nicely,” prompting him to exclaim, “I’ll fix your attitude!” which added to the laughter. Yoo Se-yoon received a despairing reply of “Yesterday,” while Hong In-kyu was shocked by the answer “Every day,” leading to his lament. Ultimately, the ‘loser’ Hong In-kyu, tearfully claimed, “I treat my wife well…” and ended up paying the meal cost of 168,000 won.
After filling their stomachs, the ‘Solo Tour’ members finally set off for Bintan Island, a popular vacation spot for Singaporeans. With a round-trip ferry cost of about 600,000 won, everyone was tense as they played a game to choose their ferry seats. Once again, Hong In-kyu ended up in last place, quickly becoming the second ‘loser’.
An hour later, they crossed the Indonesian border and arrived at Bintan Island. Kim Dae-hee expressed amazement, saying, “Since there’s a one-hour time difference, it’s still the same time as when we left Singapore,” while Hong In-kyu excitedly exclaimed, “We gained an hour, so let’s have more fun!” They then decided to rent a car to go to their accommodation, with Hong In-kyu stating, “It’s 120,000 won for five hours.” The ‘Solo Tour’ members engaged in a game of ‘Rock-Paper-Scissors’ to determine the seating arrangement and cost for the rental car, but Ha Seung-jin momentarily hesitated, saying, “I can’t see Se-yoon hyung,” and didn’t play.
As a result, the ‘Solo Tour’ members insisted, “If you don’t play, you automatically lose,” and Ha Seung-jin became the ‘loser’. He protested, “Honestly, this is too unfair!” but Kim Dae-hee retorted, “This is the ‘Solo Spirit’!” Ultimately, Ha Seung-jin squeezed himself into a corner seat in the back row as they headed to their accommodation on Bintan Island, bringing laughter.
