Singer Kim Jong-kook has directly spoken about the identity of his wife, who has been shrouded in mystery.
In the upcoming episode of KBS2’s ‘Problematic Men in the Rooftop Room’ (hereafter ‘Okmunah’), actor Park Young-kyu, known as a romantic in this era, will visit as a guest. Park Young-kyu shares candid marriage advice based on his own experiences with the newlywed Kim Jong-kook, who just got married on the 5th.
Park Young-kyu, who is 49 years old, tells Kim Jong-kook, “Is this your first marriage? I was on my second marriage at your age,” revealing his past honestly and making the rooftop room burst into laughter. He continues, “Give everything to your wife. Give her the safe key and all the passwords,” showing his romantic side and surprising Kim Jong-kook.
When Kim Sook asks, “Did you give everything to your wife too?” Park Young-kyu quickly deflects, saying, “Not exactly,” which makes Kim Jong-kook burst out laughing. Park Young-kyu then adds, “It means to live with a giving heart,” hastily trying to recover the situation and eliciting more laughter.
Additionally, when Park Young-kyu reveals a manly breakup method by saying, “I gave everything and then broke up,” Kim Sook reportedly causes a stir by questioning, “Is this advice suitable for someone who is about to get married?”
On that day, Kim Jong-kook will also clarify the rumors surrounding his new bride. He states, “She is neither a fitness worker nor is there a 20-year age gap,” adding, “The dating period was short, so there are no rumors,” explaining the lack of eyewitness accounts. In response, Kim Sook quips, “I thought you were secretly marrying a doll,” making everyone laugh.
