Singer Sean expressed his gratitude to those who joined in his donation efforts.
On the 6th, the MBC entertainment program ‘Knowing Bros’ (hereafter ‘KBS’) featured Sean, who has been consistently practicing donations.
Sean has been encouraging donations to build facilities such as a Lou Gehrig's disease nursing hospital and a children's rehabilitation hospital, exerting a positive influence. Not only Sean, but also Song Il-gook, GD, and Song Eun-yi have made donations.
Sean explained, “I learned through Eun-chong that there is a need for a children's rehabilitation hospital. I became an ambassador, and I heard that it would take 32 billion won to build it,” adding, “If one person saves 3.65 million won for a year, and if ten thousand people gather, it will be collected quickly.”
He continued, “I created the ‘Miracle of 10,000 Won’ campaign. To promote it, I pledged to run 10,000 km in a year. ‘If I run 10,000 km, I will donate 100 million won.’ That’s when my toenails started to fall out. Many people joined in after that. A company donated 20 billion won at once, which helped us open the hospital,” expressing his gratitude.
Sean also mentioned that his son Harang suggested building an alternative school, and Blackpink's Jennie donated 100 million won for it, expressing his appreciation.
