Lee Chan-won, who calls himself "the son of KBS," will perform a special congratulatory stage on 'National Singing Contest' after two years.

The KBS1 'National Singing Contest' airing on the 31st will feature the 'Incheon Dong-gu' episode, where 16 teams that made it to the finals will showcase their vibrant performances and outstanding skills on the special stage at the North Square of Dong Incheon Station. As 'Incheon Dong-gu' will be renamed 'Jeomulpo-gu' next year due to administrative district reorganization, this broadcast is expected to be the last 'National Singing Contest' held under the name 'Incheon Dong-gu'.

In addition, legendary guest singers will gather to enhance the enjoyment. The captivating voice of Ryu Ji-gwang will open the show with 'Same Person,' while Little Lee Sun-hee, Mai Jin, will heat things up with 'Love Recall.' Following that, the queen of the music industry, Jin Mi-ryung, will perform 'I Love You,' and the owner of a deep voice, Jo Seong-hee, will continue the powerful singing with 'Forgiveness,' stirring the audience.

Lee Chan-won, one of the best trot stars produced by 'National Singing Contest' and the protagonist who set the legend of being a four-time champion before his debut, will captivate the audience with the finale stage. It has been two years since Lee Chan-won last appeared on the 'National Singing Contest' stage after the '2023 Year-End Finals.' It is rumored that around 5,000 audience members sang along to his lively performance of 'A Beautiful Day.'

Meanwhile, the 'Incheon Dong-gu' episode is expected to be a competition filled with laughter and emotion. From sports dance talents to poppin' king participants and dance academy directors, the 'Incheon Dong-gu Dancing Kings' will captivate the audience with their passionate performances, while a heartfelt video letter from a participant in her 60s to her mother suffering from dementia reportedly brought tears to many eyes.

'National Singing Contest' airs every Sunday at 12:10 PM.
