In the recent filming of SBS Life's entertainment show ‘Queen of Insight Kim Nam-joo’ episode 14, Kim Nam-joo had an honest conversation with actress Lee Se-eun, who is a fan of hers.
During the filming, as soon as Lee Se-eun saw Kim Nam-joo, she showed her nervousness by saying, “I really became a fan. I’m so excited to see you, unnie (older sister in Korean).” Kim Nam-joo approached the nervous Lee Se-eun playfully, creating a comfortable atmosphere.
Lee Se-eun candidly shared about her acting hiatus, saying, “After having my first child, I wanted to work again, but then I got pregnant with my second. I wondered if it was right to work or to be with my kids, but seeing them grow is something you only experience once.”
Kim Nam-joo empathized, saying, “You did well. Time that passes will never return,” and added, “I was happiest in my 40s when I was with my kids.”
Lee Se-eun expressed her gratitude to Kim Nam-joo, saying, “Your story has been a comfort to my heart,” while shedding tears. “You have become a milestone for me. The way you passionately engage in parenting has become a role model for me.”
Kim Nam-joo also wiped her tears, saying, “This is how mothers are. When we talk about babies and motherhood, I also get emotional. Mothers struggle a lot between work and parenting, and I want to say to you, I was a mother first. It was more important than work. I was happy with that choice, and I think I made the right decision.”
