Broadcaster So Yu revealed that there are many times when she cannot contain her anger while on air.
On the afternoon of the 11th, a press conference was held to celebrate the 1st anniversary of the MBC Every1 entertainment program "Hidden Eye" at the MBC Dream Center in Ilsandong-gu, Goyang City. Attendees included Kim Sung-joo, Park Ha-sun, So Yu, Kim Dong-hyun, Kwon Il-yong, Pyo Chang-won, Lee Dae-woo, PD Hwang Seong-kyu, and Kim Gu-san, head of the broadcasting department.
"Hidden Eye" is a program that views dangerous incidents captured by CCTV from the perspective of the police. It vividly presents various crime scenes that anyone might encounter in daily life through videos, while the sharp analyses of the three captains (Kwon Il-yong, Lee Dae-woo, Pyo Chang-won) enhance the immersion.
Many of the incidents covered in the broadcast are quite intense. With numerous events that provoke anger, So Yu explained, "I try to restrain my expressions while watching."
She continued, "I also feel like cursing. But since it's a broadcast, I can't curse, right? I only do it internally. However, I can't hide my angry expressions. I hold back a lot in words. Watching those VCRs makes me very angry and sad," she added.
She also mentioned, "I'm curious about what happens after the VCR, so I ask the three captains, 'So what happens next?' But then I feel stressed because they might talk about reasons for leniency like 'this point' or 'that point.' Still, I try to restrain my cursing," which drew laughter.
"Hidden Eye" airs every Monday at 7:40 PM.
