Singer Lee Seung-hwan accepted a bet proposed by a YouTuber who raised suspicions about his entry into the United States.
On the 19th, Lee Seung-hwan said, "It's the YouTuber who mentioned reporting to the CIA. I will accept that proposal," adding, "I think it's time for someone to reveal the truth behind these lies. My proposal is that you stop making YouTube videos forever."
He continued, "I hope you can tell me what proposal you want. Money or anything else is fine. I'm tired of mindless, anti-social fake news."
Lee Seung-hwan also mentioned, "The conspiracy you raise by saying, 'Seung-hwan, do you want to bet with me?' is that 'Lee Seung-hwan didn't enter the U.S., but posted a manipulated photo as if he did,'" adding, "The issue is simple: my entry and exit from the U.S."
Lee Seung-hwan stated that he would disclose his entry and exit records issued by the U.S. Customs and Border Protection and the 'Certificate of Entry and Exit Facts' issued by the Korean Immigration Service, saying, "If these two documents confirm my entry and exit from the U.S., you lose, and if they don't, I lose."
He emphasized, "You might say you can't trust these two documents. If you suspect that I will manipulate these documents, you can report me for forgery of public documents," adding, "In that case, I swear I won't sue you for false accusations. However, the promise must be kept. You must not run away."
Lee Seung-hwan also used the hashtag 'casakbang', a gaming term where the loser deletes their character through a duel or bet.
Previously, Lee Seung-hwan revealed on social media, "I came to the U.S. for my nephew's wedding. Of course, I wasn't denied entry by the CIA or HTML," sharing photos taken locally.
In response, YouTuber Cheonjo-guk Parang posted a video titled "Seung-hwan, do you want to bet with me?" on the 18th. Cheonjo-guk Parang claimed that the photos Lee Seung-hwan shared were manipulated, stating, "Recently, right-wing figures in Korea have been reporting anti-American individuals to the CIA. And it seems that this is actually having an effect. So did Lee Seung-hwan post these photos to alleviate the anxiety of leftists? Or is it a power struggle with Korean right-wingers?"
He also suggested a bet with Lee Seung-hwan, saying, "If you really went to your nephew's wedding, please share photos taken at the airport or with your family."
This YouTuber recently drew attention by revealing that he reported IU to the CIA.
