Broadcaster Lee Jung-min shared her harsh experiences with in vitro fertilization (IVF).
Lee Jung-min appeared as a special MC on the KBS2 entertainment program ‘The Boss's Ears Are Donkey Ears’ that aired on the 10th.
On that day, while watching a VCR of Lee Soon-sil, Lee Jung-min deeply empathized with Nam Min-hee's IVF experience.
Lee Jung-min talked about her long struggle with secondary infertility, saying, “When I visited the hospital, they said it was time to try IVF, so I decided to go for it.”

Lee Jung-min, who had to take injections three to four times a day at the designated times, shared, “If you miss the timing, that one time can ruin the entire cycle,” adding, “So there were times when I had to sneak away to the bathroom to take my injection when the alarm went off during company dinners.”
She revealed that she was shocked to be diagnosed with an ovarian age of 42 when she first attempted IVF in her mid-30s, saying, “I had been doing morning broadcasts for too long. After nearly 10 years of broadcasting while being tense for two to three hours every early morning, it took a toll on my body.”
Having joined KBS as an announcer in 2005 and worked for 17 years, Lee Jung-min declared her freelance status in 2022. When asked about her severance pay, she said, “It was about a large sum,” and revealed that she used all of it and took out a bank loan to become the owner of a spa.
Meanwhile, Lee Jung-min married an ENT doctor in 2012 and has one son and one daughter. In addition to her busy life as a CEO, she continues to be active in broadcasting as an MC and host for various events.
