On the broadcast of SBS's entertainment program ‘My Ugly Duckling’ on the 10th, Kim Jun-ho and Heo Kyung-hwan were depicted visiting an orthopedic clinic to consult about their long-standing complex regarding their height.
Heo Kyung-hwan stated, “I came here seriously. Honestly, there have been several women who have worried about me because of my height. The reason I can’t get married is partly because I’m 168cm tall.” Kim Jun-ho also expressed his determination, saying, “Jimin is 158cm, but her legs are longer than mine. I can’t let my child live like that, so I will seek consultation.”
As the consultation began, Heo Kyung-hwan, who is 168.2cm tall, hung his head when the doctor said, “You have shorter legs compared to the average height in Korea.” Kim Jun-ho was unable to accept the measurement of 168.5cm and was shocked to hear that his leg ratio was shorter than Heo Kyung-hwan's, which caused him to freeze in disbelief and burst into laughter.
Both men were intrigued by the possibility of growing 7cm taller, but after hearing the detailed explanation of the limb lengthening surgery, they fell into deep contemplation, saying, “It doesn’t seem like a surgery you can think about lightly.”
Next, Kim Jun-ho and Heo Kyung-hwan met the tallest siblings in South Korea, former basketball players Ha Seung-jin and Ha Eun-joo. The stark visual difference led to reactions like, “Standing next to them makes me feel like an elementary school student.” Ha Seung-jin, who was born tall, revealed, “I was so bent in the womb that my legs didn’t straighten well after I was born,” which surprised everyone.
When asked about the inconveniences of being tall, Ha Eun-joo also mentioned, “Wherever I go, I have to scan the place. I hit everything.” Ha Seung-jin shared a shocking anecdote, saying, “When I go to Japan for games, the bathroom ceiling in the accommodation is too low. I had to open the ventilation cover and wash my hair while my head was stuck in it,” which drew attention.
