In ‘Eunsu's Good Day,’ actor Kim Young-kwang begins a double life that oscillates between light and shadow.
The new KBS2 weekend mini-series ‘Eunsu's Good Day’ (directed by Song Hyun-wook, written by Jeon Young-shin), which is set to premiere on September 20, depicts the perilous and desperate partnership of a parent, Kang Eunsu, who wants to protect her family, and a two-faced teacher, Lee Kyung, who stumbles upon a bag of drugs.
In the drama, Kim Young-kwang plays Lee Kyung, who is a popular after-school art instructor from a prestigious university by day and a mysterious club MD by night. He appears to be a kind teacher adored by the female students at the middle school attended by Eunsu's (played by Lee Young-ae) daughter, Sua, but behind this facade lies a character shrouded in secrets regarding his name and age. When Lee Kyung receives a partnership proposal from Eunsu, he becomes entangled in a dangerous partnership while hiding their relationship as a parent and teacher.
Kim Young-kwang is expected to maximize viewer immersion with a tense psychological battle and breath-taking acting alongside Lee Young-ae.
The released first stills capture Lee Kyung as a warm after-school art instructor looking at his students with a sunny smile, contrasting sharply with his other persona as a club MD, showcasing the two faces of Kim Young-kwang. Dressed in a neat shirt with pure eyes and a gentle smile, he exudes both the warmth of a young art student and a sense of excitement.
Kim Young-kwang completes his cold and sophisticated night persona with a black leather jacket, horn-rimmed glasses, and slicked-back hair. His cool and composed gaze revealed in the city lights adds a mysterious charm to the character of Lee Kyung. It raises curiosity about why he chose a life of duality and what stories are hidden behind it.
The production team of ‘Eunsu's Good Day’ stated, “Actor Kim Young-kwang has delicately expressed the sharpness hidden behind his bright smile, as well as the cold tension when faced with danger,” adding, “The narrative of Lee Kyung, who traverses between day and night, light and shadow, will provide viewers with thrilling suspense and an irresistible allure.”
‘Eunsu's Good Day’ will premiere on September 20 at 9:20 PM.
