The wife of a defector couple on ‘Divorce Reflection Camp’ revealed that she was a doctor from North Korea.
In the episode aired on the 8th, the domestic situation of the defector couple was depicted.
On that day, the wife of the defector couple said, “I was an orthopedic doctor in North Korea. I came to Korea at the age of 28, and since I had a medical license from North Korea, they told me to take the exam. So I passed it.”
The wife continued, “I gave many lectures. I received a lot of requests for broadcasting and encore lectures. In 2010, I became the first defector to receive the ‘Korea Talent Award,’ a presidential award,” which drew surprise. She added, “Receiving the presidential award made me a star in the media overnight. Later, I appeared prominently on TV as one of the 20 people who would lead future Korea. Now, I feel like I have done everything I wanted to do.”
