Choi Kang-hee revealed that she encountered a thief while jumping over a wall.
On the afternoon of the 2nd, the MBC entertainment program 'The Manager's Perspective' (hereafter 'The Manager's Perspective') featured Kim Won-hoon and Choi Kang-hee sharing their daily lives.
On this broadcast, comedian Kim Won-hoon appeared as the first subject of the segment. Upon waking up in the morning, he searched for his name along with Jo Jin-se and Eom Ji-yoon to check for any controversies.
His manager, who has been working with Kim Won-hoon for three months, reported, "I used to be the manager for Yoo Byung-jae. Won-hoon is excessively clean."
After tidying up his bedding, Kim Won-hoon drew the curtains and enjoyed the view of the Han River. He also showed a neat appearance, including cleaning his hair. He mentioned that his wife is a children's musical instructor, saying, "We were college sweethearts. We dated for 8 years before getting married." He added, "I created a lot of content reminiscing about our dating days. I thought about getting married if things went well, and when 'Short Box' succeeded, we got married that year."
He also tackled a trivia question and then proceeded to get his armpits waxed. While doing so, he carefully watched a junior from 'Gag Concert' and contacted them to say he enjoyed their performance. In response, his manager said, "There are rumors that he is the Yoo Jae-suk of the YouTube world. He tries to be like Yoo Jae-suk. He started taking care of the people around him. He calls the names of his juniors when he meets them. He even tries to remember the names of the staff."
Kim Won-hoon shared, "When I was a rookie, I saw senior Jae-suk at the entertainment awards. I had only been debuted for a year. I greeted him, and he said, 'Yeah, Won-hoon, I'm watching you well.' That had a strong impact on me, so I thought it would be nice to call my juniors by name too. I'm also interested in them. That's how this habit formed," conveying Yoo Jae-suk's good deeds.
Won-hoon, who gargles more than ten times a day, showed signs of being addicted to gargling, keeping three bottles in his car. After finishing his hair at the salon, he mentioned, "I had an unexpected expense," saying he gave pocket money to a junior comedian at the salon.
In fact, Won-hoon noted that he keeps track of friends' celebrations in a notebook, saying, "I think it costs about 3 million won a month," surprising the panel.
Upon arriving at the Short Box office, Kim Won-hoon held a meeting with the members. Jo Jin-se suggested, "Let's manage a celebrity. This time, let's include Ji-yoon," to which Eom Ji-yoon praised, "Won-hoon sunbae should become a celebrity now. People will recognize him." When Jo Jin-se commented, "Your pores have shrunk," Eom Ji-yoon exclaimed, "Did you get Ultherapy again?" causing laughter. Jin-se added, "Originally, I got it once a month, but now I get it once a week," which made everyone laugh.
While watching an idea meeting video, Jeon Hyun-moo asked, "Isn't reality verification key? Who do you ask?" To this, Kim Won-hoon replied, "If the location is a hospital, I sometimes consult with a doctor. If it's a hair salon, I ask the designer. I try to gather statistics so that many people can relate."
After the meeting, Won-hoon moved to the next location for filming a new series of Short Box. In response to Song Eun-yi's comment that "the scale of the shoot is considerable," he said, "In the beginning, I only had one camera that I rented. Jin-se filmed me, and I filmed Jin-se. But now, many friends have come to help," indicating his growth.
After filming Short Box, Won-hoon visited his parents' house with Jin-se. He revealed that Jin-se used to live at his house. Jin-se joked, "I was your adopted son. You promised to give me a share," to which Won-hoon replied, "I also got you a car."
Kim Won-hoon, who actually dreamed of being an actor, explained, "The acting industry is fierce and hard to succeed in. But my mother suggested I become a comedian first, and she liked my jokes," revealing the reason he became a comedian.
Won-hoon's father asked, "You guys did a lot. That 'Exclamation Point' thing that didn't work out. But why didn't you give us a share?" To which Jin-se replied, "Won-hoon sunbae got us a bed," and Won-hoon added, "I also got you a car." Won-hoon's father reminisced, "You had a million won under the bed," and Won-hoon expressed pride, saying, "I wanted to do something for you with my first income." Hearing this, Won-hoon's mother joked, "But what I regret the most is that I should have bought a bigger bed," making everyone laugh.
The second subject of the segment was actress Choi Kang-hee. Recently having moved, she visited a home decor store for items to place in her new home.
After purchasing lighting and a doll planter, Choi Kang-hee met her close friends Song Eun-yi and Mi-ja. It turned out that the day was the opening of Song Eun-yi's photo exhibition titled 'The Short Nap Exhibition.' She revealed that the exhibition was based on Kim Sook secretly filming Eun-yi napping for 30 years.
After enjoying the exhibition, the three moved to Kang-hee's new home. Kang-hee said, "I didn't use a moving service; I packed everything myself. I didn't have much stuff. Eun-yi bought a sofa, and that sofa came to me," indicating that only the space changed while her belongings remained the same.
When Kang-hee mentioned that the best space is the spacious kitchen, her friend Mi-ja made tofu bean sprout rice and tofu gratin for her.
During the meal, when Mi-ja warned Kang-hee not to go out at night because it was dangerous, Kang-hee recounted, "I once met a thief. There’s a wall after passing the front gate. So I used to jump over it like this," referring to how she used to jump over the wall of her house. Hearing this, Jeon Hyun-moo burst into laughter, asking, "Did you meet someone while jumping over?"
Kang-hee continued, "But someone was right there. So I turned around to leave, but my legs wouldn't move. But they didn't chase me, so I got out," adding to the story.
Kang-hee stated, "I haven't really gone in through the front door. Every time I move, I think, 'I should jump over the wall like this in this house,'" revealing her fondness for jumping over walls.
'The Manager's Perspective' airs every Saturday at 11:10 PM on MBC.
