Announcer Kim Jae-won expressed his gratitude before leaving "Morning Yard".

In the KBS1 "Morning Yard" broadcast on the 31st, Kim Jae-won said, "I am greeting you later than usual. Did you hear the news special on trade negotiations? I hope our country does well. 'Morning Yard' should do well, and Kim Jae-won should do well too."

In response, announcer Um Ji-in mentioned, "That day has come," referring to Kim Jae-won's last broadcast.

Kim Jae-won shared, "I greeted you a little late, perhaps because I am sad about our beautiful farewell. Please join me for my last blooming life lesson. It has been over 30 years since I joined KBS in February 1995. It has been over 28 years since I greeted you on April 5, 1997, during the Saturday event of 'Morning Yard'."

He continued, "I will be parting ways with 'Morning Yard' and KBS. Please join me for this beautiful farewell today."

Kim Jae-won asked Um Ji-in, "Did you have a good vacation?" and Um Ji-in replied, "My family is overseas, so I live apart from them, and the only time we are together is during summer vacation. I planned this a few months ago, but I was sad because it coincided with the time I would be parting from you, Kim Jae-won. I came straight to Yeouido as soon as I got off the plane to be with you for your last broadcast."

Kim Jae-won expressed his gratitude, saying, "I will work hard on my last broadcast as usual, thanking the viewers who have been with me over the years. This beautiful farewell continues. I am carefully reading and cherishing every word of encouragement you have left me. I will take it as a life lesson and your support, keeping it in mind as I endure in a wider world."

Kim Jae-won, who has long been a part of "Morning Yard," recently decided on honorary retirement and will step down after this broadcast. His successor will be announcer Park Cheol-kyu, who has been hosting the Friday segment of "Morning Yard."
