Singer Juhyunmi revealed the reason for opposing her daughter's debut as a celebrity.

On the 26th, Juhyunmi appeared on SBS Power FM ‘Escape from Two O'Clock Cultwo Show’ (hereinafter ‘Cultwo Show’) to promote her new song ‘Anone’. She participated in the ‘Love's Call Center’ segment alongside creator Lala and singer Kim Taehyun.

Juhyunmi's new song ‘Anone’, released to mark her 40th anniversary in the industry, was written and composed by Seol Woon-do and was simultaneously released in Korea and Japan, drawing attention. Audience members who heard the song reacted by saying, “I thought it would be sad, but it’s actually exciting to feel good that it didn’t come.”

Juhyunmi, who is known to have started her singing career while working as a pharmacist, revealed that she was the vocalist of the group sound band ‘Ginseng Radix’ during her time at Chung-Ang University’s pharmacy school and even won a commendation at the MBC River Gayo Festival.

Juhyunmi attracted attention by mentioning that her daughter is a member of ‘OAB’, Suyeon. When asked how she felt when her daughter said she wanted to pursue music, Juhyunmi replied, “I initially opposed it. I told her to finish her school studies and then try it.” She continued, “It’s not easy to be loved by the public. I didn’t want my daughter to experience that,” expressing her honest feelings.

‘Escape from Two O'Clock Cultwo Show’ can be listened to every day from 2 PM to 4 PM on SBS Power FM, and it can also be enjoyed as a video radio through the official YouTube channel ‘Erao’.
