In 'Brave Detectives 4', the identity of a self-proclaimed 'pastor' who tried to dominate sex crime offenders will be uncovered.
In the 44th episode of T-Cast E Channel's 'Brave Detectives 4', which will air on the 25th, Detective Jo Seung-no will appear and share a case he solved himself.
The episode begins with a report that a victim of digital sex crimes is being threatened. A woman, who learned that her composite nude photos were being circulated online, receives a threatening call from a man who informed her of this. The man, who referred to himself as a 'vigilante group', demanded the personal information of the woman's ex-boyfriend, who is suspected of distributing the composite photos. When the woman refused, he began to threaten her by finding out her family's contact information and workplace.
The investigation team quickly tracked down the perpetrator, and surprisingly, they apprehended three high school boys who did not know each other. They all claimed to be evangelists or prospective evangelists and stated that everything was under the "pastor's orders." However, they added that they did not know the pastor's name, face, or gender.
As a result of the investigation, it was revealed that these three were offenders involved in sexual crime videos or deepfakes, and they had been blackmailed by someone referred to as the pastor. It was shocking to discover that the pastor used this as leverage to threaten them with exposure and punishment, and even committed acts of quasi-rape. The so-called 'vigilante group' turned out to be a criminal organization under the pastor's orders, where sex crime offenders lured in other offenders.
Detectives who investigated the 'Doctor's Room' and 'N Room' cases sensed that this was a serious incident and began to compile similar cases from across the country. There were 60 confirmed cases in the first round, and the investigation records amounted to a staggering 40,000 pages. Most importantly, the majority of the victims were teenage girls.
The perpetrator controlled the every move of the victims and revealed his vile sexual desires. As his evil deeds were uncovered one by one, the investigation team continued to pursue him using all available means. The identity of the self-proclaimed 'pastor', who created another hell while hiding online, and the methods he used to cruelly control the victims, as well as ways to block increasingly sophisticated online crimes, can be confirmed through 'Brave Detectives 4'.
Meanwhile, 'Brave Detectives 4' airs every Friday night at 9:50 PM and is also available on major OTT platforms such as Netflix, Tving, and Wavve.
