Comedian Yoon Hyung-bin shared behind-the-scenes details about his retirement match in mixed martial arts.

Yoon Hyung-bin said, "I was also surprised that it was my first official match in 11 years. I thought it was time to retire from mixed martial arts due to my age, so I announced my retirement match. My opponent was Banzz, a mukbang YouTuber who was a former elite judo player in middle school."
Yoon Hyung-bin continued, "I was really anxious before the match. Banzz is 10 years younger than me and maintains his physique by exercising for 5 hours a day. When it was announced that we would be competing, the comments were all like 'Yoon Hyung-bin will definitely lose' and 'Yoon Hyung-bin will definitely get hit'." He added, "I won by TKO, but the comments were 'I ordered chicken and it was over'." He laughed.
Recalling his retirement match, where he won by TKO in 1 minute and 42 seconds, Yoon Hyung-bin said, "What’s really cool in mixed martial arts is when a powerful punch knocks the opponent down, and you just stand there as if nothing happened. Banzz went down with my punch. I had to pose coolly, but Banzz momentarily fainted and then woke up. I was a bit surprised by that."
He continued, "Banzz's eyes opened wide, and he looked at me in a daze. Without realizing it, I rushed over and hit him. In the UFC, they do ground and pound stylishly, but I was just hitting him like I was beating laundry." This brought laughter.
Meanwhile, Yoon Hyung-bin talked about the unusual promise that became a hot topic. He said, "Before the match, I jokingly suggested at the press conference, 'Let's put our YouTube channels on the line for the match.' I was just trying to be funny, but Banzz took it very seriously."
He added, "In the end, Banzz deleted his YouTube channel, which had 2.05 million subscribers. Banzz was too serious about it. In fact, I tried to stop him. I said, 'Don't delete it, just give it to me instead,' which made everyone laugh."
