Comedian Lee Soo-ji revealed her own philosophy of laughter.
On the 5th, the MBC entertainment program 'Knowing Bros' featured Lee Soo-ji visiting Lee Young-ja's second house.
On that day, Lee Young-ja mentioned Lee Soo-ji's popular alter ego, Jamie Mom, saying, "You have been very popular and have had your share of troubles, but I hope you are happy at this moment."
Jamie Mom is a character that Lee Soo-ji portrays in content released on her YouTube channel, parodying the 'Daechi Mom' who is serious about private education. This led to controversy over whether Lee Soo-ji was mocking Han Ga-in by parodying a YouTube video of her riding with children. She also faced criticism for allegedly targeting actress Lee Cheong-ah in another video.
Lee Soo-ji mentioned, "When I struggle while doing comedy, I think, 'How did the seniors get through it?'" referring to her difficult times. In response, Lee Young-ja comforted her, saying, "People keep demanding new things," and added, "People in other professions also experience that kind of pain. I hope you don't think of that pain as too great."
When asked if she has a philosophy about laughter, Lee Soo-ji replied, "It should be something that many people can laugh at," and added, "Other people should be able to hurt less."
