As 'The Male Lead's First Night' captivates viewers with the offbeat romance between Seohyun and Ok Taecyeon, unresolved storylines are adding to the intrigue of the latter half of the show.

KBS2's Wednesday-Thursday drama 'The Male Lead's First Night' (directed by Lee Woong-hee and Kang Soo-yeon, written by Jeon Sun-young) follows the journey of a college student whose spirit inhabits the supporting character Cha Seon-taek (played by Seohyun). After shaking up the original story with unpredictable developments, she embraces a romance with the male lead, Ibeon (played by Ok Taecyeon), as the show enters its second half. Here are some key points to enjoy the remaining storylines even more.

The first point of interest is the crisis stemming from the strong opposition expressed by Cha Seon-taek's father, Cha Ho-yeol (played by Seo Hyun-cheol), regarding the wedding between Seon-taek and Ibeon. Known as a doting father, Cha Ho-yeol stands as the only person to put the brakes on Ibeon's relentless pursuit after the first night, siding with Seon-taek who is trying to escape the situation. The opposition from the elder of the Cha family is a significant factor that Ibeon cannot ignore, even as he pushes forward with the wedding plans.

Recently, the atmosphere shifted as Seon-taek opened her heart to Ibeon, deciding to become the female lead just for him, beyond being a supporting character. Now, Cha Ho-yeol's opposition has become a challenge that the two must tackle together. Particularly, since the opposition stems not from a dislike of Ibeon but from the father's desire to send his daughter to a normal family rather than a royal family entangled in power and rumors, persuading him seems to be a difficult task. It raises the question of whether the two can change the father's mind and proceed with the wedding.

Another point of interest is the unrequited love of the supporting male lead, Jeong Soo-gyeom (played by Seo Beom-jun), who shows unwavering affection for the female lead, Jo Eun-ae (played by Kwon Han-sol). After getting drunk from a bomb shot game prepared by Seon-taek, Soo-gyeom expressed discomfort when faced with another punishment, and in that moment, he fell for Kwon Han-sol, who bravely drank the harsh liquor in his place.

Subsequently, Soo-gyeom shyly confesses to Seon-taek that he likes Jo Eun-ae, and upon hearing that Eun-ae will participate in Ibeon's wedding, he dramatically confronts the tyrant Ibeon while crying. Viewers are eager to see how Soo-gyeom's unrequited love will unfold in the future.

'The Male Lead's First Night' is set to capture the audience's hearts in the latter half with a variety of stories, from the conflict surrounding Seon-taek and Ibeon's wedding to Soo-gyeom's tear-jerking unrequited love.

'The Male Lead's First Night' airs on the 2nd at 9:50 PM.
