Broadcaster Yvonne shared her feelings about returning as a radio DJ.
On the afternoon of the 30th, a production presentation for KBS 2 Radio's 'Yvonne's La La Land' was held at the KBS headquarters in Yeouido, Seoul, with PD Yoon Sung-hyun and Yvonne in attendance.
On this day, Yvonne said, "This is Yvonne returning with La La Land. I'm so, so happy," adding, "Today is the first broadcast, and I used to feel the most nervous and excited right before going on air. But I know myself well. I think I will find my composure the moment the on-air light turns on."
In particular, Yvonne drew attention by revealing that she came up with the program name 'Yvonne's La La Land.'
She said, "The PD and the team members gave me many good title suggestions, so I initially didn't think of adding my opinion. They asked, 'If you were to do radio again, what name would you like?' I thought it would be magical and joyful to spend time with me. When I watched the movie 'La La Land,' I felt that way, so I thought of 'Yvonne's La La Land.'
Meanwhile, Yvonne's return as a radio DJ comes 21 years after her last show, 'Yvonne's Volume Up,' which aired on KBS Cool FM from 1995 to 2004. 'Yvonne's La La Land' will be broadcast every day from 4 PM to 6 PM on KBS 2 Radio and can also be listened to through the KBS Radio mobile app 'KONG' and on the YouTube channel.
