Actor Oh Kwang-rok gathered with his son, whom he reunited with after 7 years, and his 92-year-old father to share their feelings, resolving past grievances and becoming closer.

In the episode of TV Chosun's 'Dad and Me' aired on the 24th, Oh Kwang-rok headed to his 92-year-old father's house, who has been alone since the passing of his mother. Previously, his son Oh Si-won had cut off contact with his father, as well as his grandparents, due to his 'anger' towards his father. Nine years passed, and the grandmother passed away without seeing her grandchild. Upon hearing the news of his grandmother's death, Oh Si-won blamed himself and felt regret. After reuniting with his son Oh Si-won for the first time in 7 years, Oh Kwang-rok decided to visit his father.

The two first arrived at the columbarium where Oh Kwang-rok's mother, who passed away three months ago, is located. Oh Si-won expressed his longing for his grandmother, saying, “I came down to see my grandmother, and I felt like she would still hug me.” He also conveyed his apologies for not having contacted her by reading a letter. In response, Oh Kwang-rok said, “My son regretted it. I should have made more effort to visit and knock on the door… I was lacking, and it was too late,” expressing his remorse for his son missing out on time with his grandmother because of him.

After saying goodbye to their grandmother, the two arrived at Oh Kwang-rok's father's house. The 92-year-old grandfather could not take his eyes off his grandchild, whom he hadn't seen in 9 years, and Oh Si-won apologized, saying, “I’m sorry for coming late,” and performed a deep bow to greet his grandfather. Oh Si-won and Oh Kwang-rok prepared a meal for their grandfather together, showing their growing closeness.

After the meal, Oh Si-won, lying next to his grandfather, shared how he had lived during the past 9 years of no contact. Hearing that his grandchild was doing well at work, the grandfather felt relieved. Oh Si-won joked, “I will get you a tailored suit, Grandpa. You look great in a suit,” making his grandfather smile.

Oh Si-won also became emotional upon seeing that his name was saved as 'Our Puppy' in his grandmother's phone. Oh Kwang-rok and Oh Si-won took out a photo album from their grandmother's house and embarked on a journey down memory lane. Looking at the photos filled with his childhood, Oh Si-won said, “These are landscapes and expressions I’ve never seen before… It’s a side of me from a time I didn’t know. I want to remember this for a long time,” cherishing the time spent with his father. He added, “I don’t want to regret not being able to see my grandmother again,” showing a more relaxed expression. Oh Kwang-rok expressed his feelings, saying, “I want to be a better father and son,” looking forward to the days ahead together, leaving behind the 7 years of lost contact.

Breaking down the long wall of separation, 'Dad and Me' allows for understanding through emotion and laughter, finally facing warm sincerity. The show concluded its Season 2 with the 56th episode.
