Actress Park Won-sook reminisced about her past when she took on the role of the head of the family in place of her parents.
In the KBS2 broadcast of ‘Park Won-sook's Living Together’ on the 23rd, Park Won-sook was seen meeting her younger sibling after many years.
On this day, Park Won-sook's sibling said, "She was a big sister I couldn't dare to fight with. Now that we are older, the gap is narrowing, and she feels like a friend I am aging with."
Park Won-sook shared, "When my younger siblings were young, I got married. After our father passed away, our situation became difficult. I pursued a career as an actress while my siblings grew up without a father. My mother used the money I earned to take care of my siblings."
Park Won-sook also lay in bed with her sibling for the first time in a long while, recalling their childhood. She expressed, "I felt sorry for you. After our father passed away and our situation worsened, I got married and was busy with my acting career, and I didn't realize how hard it was for you."
Her sibling comforted her, saying, "Sister, you went through a lot. We were also busy with our own lives and didn't know about your struggles." Park Won-sook continued, "I also tried to help. Even if I gave you each 1 million won, I needed 5 million won. My mother said, 'Am I working? Am I going out to work? I am living solely on the money I received from Won-sook,'" shedding tears as she shared the economic burden she carried as the de facto head of the family.
In an interview with the production team, her sibling expressed gratitude, saying, "Such a sister is rare. It's not easy to give up everything for others, but she was the biggest support beam in our house. She helped our mother like a strong screen behind her."
