Broadcaster Gangnam gifted a luxury wedding ring to his non-celebrity friend Seungri, whom he met through 'I Live Alone.'
On the 19th, Gangnam posted a video titled "My friend is no longer living alone. A big wedding gift for our 11-year friendship" on his YouTube channel 'Neighborhood Friend Gangnami.'
Gangnam, who appeared on MBC's 'I Live Alone' in 2014, gained significant attention for his episode with his friend Seungri, whom he met by chance on the subway. Maintaining their friendship for 11 years, Gangnam revealed, "That friend is getting married."
Upon meeting Seungri, who mentioned he hadn't proposed yet, Gangnam said, "I was going to give you a wedding gift anyway. I'll buy the ring. That way, it seems like you'll propose," and led him to a luxury jewelry store.
While browsing rings in the store, Seungri was surprised by the high prices, but Gangnam actively communicated with the staff to make the gift happen. After Gangnam coolly made the payment, Seungri, watching him, expressed his gratitude, saying, "Aren't you going to get scolded (by your wife)?" and became emotional, saying, "Thank you."
After watching a Disney movie together, Gangnam told Seungri, "He doesn't need to thank me, but I am grateful to him. Thanks to him, my life has changed 180 degrees," and added, "I appreciate that he comes out right away when I say this."

Moving to a restaurant, Gangnam revealed that he is close to Seungri's fiancée as well as her mother, surprising everyone. In particular, Gangnam promised to sing at Seungri's wedding, creating a warm atmosphere.
Gangnam debuted in 2011 as part of the four-member hip-hop group M.I.B and has gained much love through variety shows like 'School's Out' and 'I Live Alone.'
He married speed skating gold medalist Lee Sang-hwa in 2019 and is currently communicating with fans through his YouTube channel 'Neighborhood Friend Gangnami.'
