In the latest episode of ‘Groom Class’, new student Cheon Myung-hoon honestly confessed to his ‘crush’ whom he has been friends with for 10 years.

On the 18th, Channel A’s ‘Recent Men’s Life - Groom Class (hereafter ‘Groom Class’)’ featured Cheon Myung-hoon, a ‘single man from Yangsu-ri’, inviting the woman he has had a crush on for 10 years to Yangpyeong for their first date.

Additionally, Kim Il-woo and Park Sun-young enjoyed a 1-night, 2-day camper van trip in Gangneung, showcasing a ‘newlywed’ level of chemistry that filled the living room with a pink atmosphere. The episode recorded a viewership rating of 2.1% (nationwide for paid broadcasting households) according to Nielsen Korea.

Cheon Myung-hoon, who made his first appearance in the ‘Groom Class’ studio, declared, “I am a new student from ‘Class 4-7’ who dreams of marriage more than anyone else!” receiving a warm welcome from ‘principal’ Lee Seung-cheol and others. Shortly after, he revealed his preparations at home, as he was actually choosing a date outfit for his date with the woman he developed feelings for after being friends for 10 years.

After much deliberation, he chose a bright pink shirt and called his ‘best friend’ Jang Woo-hyuk. Jang Woo-hyuk advised Cheon Myung-hoon, who was about to confess to his ‘crush’, saying, “Building up to the confession is important. Don’t rush it, take your time. Also, listening to what the other person says is key!” With this solid advice, Cheon Myung-hoon waited for his ‘crush’ at a café.

A little later, she arrived, and the ‘studio mentor team’ exclaimed, “She is so beautiful!” In response, Cheon Myung-hoon explained, “Actually, she is not Korean but Chinese. Born in 1986, she is a former Miss China and has been in Korea for over 20 years.” Upon seeing her, Cheon Myung-hoon gently hugged her and presented her with a bouquet.

He also asked about her recent activities, to which she replied, “I recently opened a clinic in Manila, and I’m planning to open another one in Malaysia next month,” revealing that she is the ‘CEO of a dermatology clinic in Manila’. Cheon Myung-hoon casually asked, “Are you seeing anyone these days?” and she answered, “No,” which relieved him.

The two moved from the café to take a walk, continuing their sweet atmosphere. Afterward, Cheon Myung-hoon took her to his favorite restaurant. In the car, he subtly boasted, “The apartment I live in is my own, and my mother lives in a nearby pension. I also have one more car.”

This made her burst into laughter, and when Cheon Myung-hoon ordered a chicken feet and rice ball set at the restaurant, she responded, “I love chicken feet,” adding a twist to the situation. During the meal, when the topic of marriage came up, Cheon Myung-hoon expressed, “I also want to get married and have kids soon. But I will absolutely respect my partner’s wishes.”

He then cautiously asked, “Did you ever have even a little bit of feelings for me?” She replied, “To be honest, there hasn’t been any ‘something’ between us, and we’ve never met alone, so I never thought about it that way.” Cheon Myung-hoon, taken aback, suddenly teared up and pleaded, “But please don’t draw a line.”

She reassured him, saying, “Since we’ve had the image of being close friends until now, I think it will take some time for our relationship to develop.” As curiosity grows about whether Cheon Myung-hoon’s unrequited love can be realized, the camping date scene of Kim Il-woo and Park Sun-young unfolded.

That day, the ‘Il-young couple’ decided to go on a 1-night, 2-day camper van trip and went to rent a camper. After carefully inspecting various camper vans as if choosing a newlywed home, they selected one. Following that, Kim Il-woo headed to his favorite place to buy clams for dinner. The shop owner generously packed extra clams, saying, “You two must do well together.”

In a warm atmosphere, Kim Il-woo parked the camper at a beach that is his personal healing spot. The two enjoyed dipping their feet in the sea and playfully ran away from each other, exuding newlywed-level chemistry. Furthermore, Kim Il-woo showcased his caring charm by personally wiping the sand off Park Sun-young’s feet. The ‘studio mentor team’ praised him, saying, “He’s improving every day!”

As evening fell, Kim Il-woo switched to chef mode and cooked grilled clams and clam stew for Park Sun-young. She also peeled shrimp and fed it to him. After a meal filled with excitement, the two fell into a ‘fire pit’ moment. At that time, ‘empath’ Lee Da-hae immersed herself, saying, “This is a moment for a kiss~,” and when the atmosphere turned serious, Kim Il-woo confessed, “When I went on a golf date with Sun-young, I felt like I was hitting a wall, and I’ve been thinking about it because I have some traumas that make me hesitate.”

He continued, “I am happier when I can give love rather than receive it from someone.” In the romantic atmosphere, he took out a ukulele and performed for Park Sun-young. Touched, she gazed at him and said, “You’re cute.” After successfully completing the surprise event, Kim Il-woo said, “Now let’s sleep,” to which Park Sun-young replied, “Let me take something out for a moment,” and then came out of the camper with something.

Seeing this, the ‘studio mentor team’ raised their curiosity, asking, “Could it be that she’s planning to propose first?”

‘Groom Class’ airs every Wednesday at 9:30 PM on Channel A.
