It has been 7 years since comedian the late Kim Tae-ho (real name Kim Kwang-hyun) passed away.
Kim Tae-ho died in a fire accident that occurred on June 17, 2018, at a bar in Gunsan, Jeollabuk-do. He was 51 years old.
The Gunsan fire incident was an arson case committed by a man in his 50s, Mr. A, who harbored resentment after a dispute over the bar bill.
At the time, Kim Tae-ho was visiting Gunsan to attend a golf tournament event when the accident occurred. The incident resulted in the deaths of three people, including Kim Tae-ho, and injured over 30 others.
Meanwhile, Kim Tae-ho debuted as a comedian in KBS's 8th public recruitment in 1991. He later worked as a reporter on shows such as 'Comedy World', '6 O'Clock My Hometown', and 'Good Morning Korea'. Additionally, he also acted in dramas like 'You Are a Star', 'The Great Chunhyang', and 'Seodongyo'.
