In ‘Our Movie’, Namgoong-min is slowly being swayed by terminally ill actress Jeon Yeo-bin.

In the second episode of the SBS Friday-Saturday drama ‘Our Movie’ (written by Han Ga-eun and Kang Kyung-min, directed by Lee Jeong-heum) aired on the 14th, Lee Je-ha (played by Namgoong-min) begins to resonate with the earnest will of Lee Da-eum (played by Jeon Yeo-bin), who wants to fulfill her dream of becoming an actress, raising expectations for the rebirth of ‘White Love’ with a new emotion. As a result, the second episode recorded a peak viewership rating of 4.7% (according to Nielsen Korea).

Lee Da-eum, who inherited her mother's illness, has long dreamed of being an actress, a profession that allows her to be someone else, as her life is nearing its end. Therefore, she is determined to become the protagonist of the remake version of ‘White Love’ that Lee Je-ha will create, burning with the desire to fulfill her dream.

At the audition, Lee Da-eum left a strong impression on Lee Je-ha and producer Boo Seung-won (played by Seo Hyun-woo) with her unique interpretation of the character. Lee Je-ha was captivated by Lee Da-eum's performance, but he was also concerned about the aftermath if the terminally ill actress were to suddenly pass away while filming. Since this is a project that has been in the making for five years and involves many people, he tried to think carefully, but Lee Da-eum's presence was already becoming engraved in his heart.

Throughout the scriptwriting process, Lee Je-ha was captivated by Lee Da-eum's words and asked her, “How long can you live?” In response, Lee Da-eum boldly replied, “How long do I have to live?” which sent a tremor through his heart.

In particular, while contemplating the emotional line of the protagonist in ‘White Love’, Lee Je-ha was inspired by Lee Da-eum's desire to leave memories for her loved ones after she is gone. Additionally, the over 100 monologue performance videos hinted at Lee Da-eum's passion and earnestness as she quietly advances toward her dream of becoming an actress. This led him to be convinced that he wanted to work with Lee Da-eum on ‘White Love’ not as a terminally ill consultant, but as an actress.

After receiving the text that she passed the first audition, Lee Da-eum was overwhelmed with emotion and entered the second audition with a trembling heart after thorough preparation. Instead of focusing on the character analysis that Lee Da-eum brought, Lee Je-ha aimed to accurately grasp the reality of her terminal condition, and Lee Da-eum's boldness in saying she could do anything despite her pain opened his heart once again. He then set a condition, saying, “There’s a condition, don’t die,” signaling that the green light was on for Lee Da-eum’s challenge for the lead role.

In this way, Lee Je-ha and Lee Da-eum are transforming their relationship from film director and terminally ill consultant to film director and actress, rewriting a masterpiece that has been loved by all. It raises curiosity about what emotions will be captured in the ‘White Love’ that the two will create together.

The results of the audition for terminally ill actress Jeon Yeo-bin, which touched the heart of film director Namgoong-min, will be revealed in ‘Our Movie’ airing on the 20th at 9:50 PM.
