The new variety content ‘Nana Minbak with Seventeen’ featuring the group Seventeen (S.Coups, Jeonghan, Joshua, Jun, Hoshi, Wonwoo, Woozi, DK, Mingyu, Dokyeom, Seungkwan, Vernon, Dino) has finally unveiled its first episode. With nearly 3 hours of extensive content from the very first episode, it raised expectations for the unique chemistry between the members and PD Na Young-seok.
On the 2nd at 11:30 PM, the first episode of ‘Nana Minbak with Seventeen’ (hereafter referred to as Nana Minbak) was released through the global fandom life platform Weverse. The episode depicted the process of being deceived by PD Na and heading to a guesthouse in Boeun, Chungcheongbuk-do. From expressing the pressure of wanting to be funny during a sudden ‘entrance ceremony’ request to reaching a breaking point after a round of character quizzes, Seventeen’s unique candid and cheerful charm was continuously showcased.
Known as ‘game maniacs’, Seventeen engaged wholeheartedly in various bets, bringing laughter. Dino insisted, “Isn’t Chungbuk part of Chungnambuk-do?” to get the answer ‘Chungcheongbuk-do’ from PD Na, Hoshi unexpectedly asked about PD Na’s glasses prescription, and Seungkwan made a tearful appeal, with all the members igniting their competitive spirit in various ways.

Before the full version on Weverse, the main episode was simultaneously released on tvN and Disney+ on the 2nd, allowing viewers from 77 countries and regions worldwide to tune in. The second episode of the full version, which is not included in the main episode, will be released on the 6th at 7 PM.
Meanwhile, Seventeen continues to ride the wave of success with their 5th studio album ‘HAPPY BURSTDAY’. The new album sold a total of 2,521,208 copies in its first week (counting period from May 26 to June 1). This is the highest initial sales (sales volume in the first week after release) among K-pop albums released this year.
Additionally, the title track ‘THUNDER’ topped the Bugs daily chart for 3 consecutive days (from May 30 to June 1) and has maintained its position in the top tier on Melon’s ‘Top 100’.
