In the daily drama 'The Queen's House' (written by Kim Min-joo, directed by Hong Seok-goo and Hong Eun-mi) that aired on the 2nd, Kang Jae-in (played by Ham Eun-jung) fell into deep despair after losing her son. The viewership rating for this episode surpassed 9.9% (according to Nielsen Korea, based on all households nationwide), setting a new record for the show and continuing its steady rise through word of mouth.
In this episode, Jae-in lost her son Hwang Eun-ho (played by Yeo Si-on) in a hit-and-run accident. Her heartbreaking cries while holding her fallen son stirred the viewers' emotions.
