Actress Hwang Jung-eum could not avoid being completely edited out of 'Solo Because'.

In the episode of SBS Plus and E Channel's 'Solo Because' that aired on the 20th, the daily lives of Lee Ji-won and Park Eun-hye were depicted, while MC Hwang Jung-eum's segments were edited out.

On this day, as the final episode of 'Solo Because' aired, MC Shin Dong-yup and 'Solo Sisters' Lee Ji-won and Park Eun-hye appeared in the studio. However, Hwang Jung-eum, who had recorded with them, did not appear.

Even when Shin Dong-yup was reacting to the VCR of Lee Ji-won and Park Eun-hye, Hwang Jung-eum, who was sitting next to him, was not visible. Hwang Jung-eum's voice and laughter could be heard occasionally, but even that was broadcast at a low volume.

The reason for Hwang Jung-eum's segments being edited out is that she has been indicted on charges of violating the Act on the Aggravated Punishment of Specific Economic Crimes (embezzlement). Hwang Jung-eum was indicted without detention for allegedly embezzling over 4.3 billion won of company funds, including 700 million won that she received under the pretext of advance payments for investments in cryptocurrency, from the funds borrowed by her agency until December 2022.

Upon the revelation of these facts, Hwang Jung-eum apologized, saying, "I am sorry for causing concern to many people due to this shameful matter."
