In ‘The Queen's House’, Ham Eun-jung wept at the news of her father Nam Kyung-eup's death.
In the 16th episode of KBS2's daily drama ‘The Queen's House’ (directed by Hong Seok-goo and Hong Eun-mi, written by Kim Min-joo), the characters' desires began to reveal themselves following the death of Chairman Kang Kyu-cheol (played by Nam Kyung-eup).
In this episode, Kang Seung-woo (played by Kim Hyun-wook) discovered Kyu-cheol collapsed at the company. Kang Jae-in (played by Ham Eun-jung), who had lost her father, who had been a great support, could not hide her sadness and shed tears.
Meanwhile, Hwang Gi-chan (played by Park Yoon-jae)'s evil deeds raised viewers' blood pressure. He, who stood by during Kyu-cheol's death, pretended to be sad at the funeral and spread false information that the death of the YL Group chairman was due to pressure from the Do-yoon family. Upon learning this, the Do-yoon family was furious, and unable to contain himself, Jeong Oh-seong (played by Kim Hyun-kyun) went to the funeral home to confront Kang Mi-ran (played by Kang Kyung-heon), creating a tense standoff that had viewers on the edge of their seats.
The appearance of Choi Ja-young (played by Lee Sang-sook) heightened the drama's immersion. Ja-young, who appeared at the funeral home with a confident stride, looked at Kyu-cheol's portrait and burst into a tearful laugh, leaving everyone stunned. She also expressed her mixed feelings of lament and anger, saying, “You should live the same way you made me live in hell after driving a nail into my heart and deceiving me. Get out of the coffin right now.”
Ja-young made a bombshell statement to Seung-woo, who called her 'mom', saying, “You are the one who drove me to hell,” leaving Seung-woo speechless in shock.
Do Yoo-kyung (played by Cha Min-ji) learned about the affair between Gi-chan and Kang Se-ri (played by Lee Ga-ryeong). Later, Yoo-kyung coldly warned Se-ri, who shamelessly appeared at the funeral, saying, “You currently have no right to see Jae-in or her father. Se-ri, I clearly warned you.”
At the end of the broadcast, Se-ri appeared in front of a homeless person (played by Lee Bo-hee) with the son she had with Gi-chan, raising curiosity about what kind of repercussions this would bring in the future.
‘The Queen's House’ episode 17 will air today (20th) at 7:50 PM.
