Lee Min-jung from 'Gaojeong' revealed the reason for participating in an outdoor variety show.
On the morning of the 16th, a production presentation for KBS2's variety show 'Going and Coming Lee Min-jung' (hereafter Gaojeong) was held at the KBS Art Hall in Seoul. PD Hwang Seong-hoon and actors Lee Min-jung, Ahn Jae-hyun, Kim Jung-hyun, and Kim Jae-won attended.
When asked if she chose outdoor variety shows to escape parenting, Lee Min-jung said, "I had the expectation that going somewhere for a 1-night, 2-day trip would be healing. I thought that since I would be outside, I wouldn't have to cook, but when I went out, it turned out to be for 60 people. I realized I couldn't escape from cooking."
She continued, "I wanted to do an outdoor variety show because actors don't get to see many places unless they are filming. I had a desire to visit the beautiful forests and islands of our country. I thought being outside would bring out a more natural side of me. However, outdoor variety shows are really tough. Unexpected things come up, which makes it difficult, but I think those will become memories."
'Gaojeong' is a program where they deliver daily necessities in a mobile convenience store to a rural village and spend a night sharing various stories. It will premiere at 9:50 PM today.
