Singer HyunA (33) revealed the reason for her decision to remove her full-body tattoos.
On the 14th, a video titled ‘What is the result of HyunA's YongTaro after getting a 'nail' in Yong-jin's chest?’ was posted on Lee Yong-jin's YouTube channel.
In the video, HyunA said, “It has been a year since I started removing my tattoos. I have a lot of tattoos all over my body, so it takes a little time to remove them.”
She explained the reason for removing her tattoos, saying, “My mom said, ‘How about trying to live with a clean body just once? You've done everything you wanted to do.’” She added, “It hurts a lot. I've had about four sessions and I'm taking a break for now.”
Listening to HyunA's story, Lee Yong-jin shared, “I also removed tattoos on my legs. Since I have a child, there comes a moment of regret.”
When HyunA asked, “Does your child ask, ‘What is this?’” Lee Yong-jin replied, “I used to say, ‘Warriors are born with them,’ but now that explanation doesn’t work anymore.”
Meanwhile, HyunA debuted in 2007 with the group Wonder Girls, went through 4Minute, and has been active as a solo artist since 2010. She married singer Yong Jun-hyung last October and made her comeback with a new single ‘Nail (Mrs. Nail)’ on the 30th of last month, about a year later.
