Actor Oh Kwang-rok has reunited with his son after 7 years.
In the episode of the TV Chosun entertainment program 'Dad and Me' that aired on the 6th, actor Oh Kwang-rok and his son appeared.
Oh Kwang-rok introduced himself as "O Si-won's dad." He then explained, "Before Si-won turned 5, I separated from his mother and we started living apart."
He continued, "I saw my son before COVID, and it has been about 7 years since we last met. Even when I call, it doesn't go through, and I don't get replies to my texts."
Before meeting his son, Oh Kwang-rok expressed, "I'm very nervous. I don't want to mess up again," revealing his desire to get closer to his son.
The son, who met his father after a long time, sat in silence for a while before saying, "I've never said this before, but I think the reason I keep avoiding contact is that I'm angry. I'm so angry that I just don't answer or reply. I feel like there is no bond between us."
The son also said, "Dad had no presence in my life. I don't even know if he really exists; he was just someone who might as well not be there." He added, "There must be many divorced families, but I ended up living without talking about it..." and showed tears.
Oh Kwang-rok was taken aback by his son's words and replied, "I didn't know."
