Park Gun from 'Strange Story' reminisced about his impoverished childhood.
In the SBS Life show 'New Speed Talk Show - Strange Story' (hereafter referred to as Strange Story), which airs on the 6th, the theme of the discussion is 'regret (恨)'.
On this day, Yoon Tae-jin asked guests Park Gun and Hong Ja, "Have you ever experienced regret?"
Hong Ja replied, "It's not exactly regret, but since my days of being unknown were long, I think I was so eager that the stage at that time felt precious and valuable enough to create some regret."
Park Gun opened up, saying, "For me, being poor was my regret."
He continued, "Looking back now, I think I got scolded by my teacher in elementary school not because I was a troublemaker, but because I couldn't bring the necessary supplies. Since my family was struggling, I could only prepare cheap school supplies like straw and clay, but I couldn't afford the expensive ones. I was embarrassed about that, so when the teacher wrote it in the notification book, I didn't mention it and pretended I didn't buy it, which led to me getting my palm and butt hit and being scolded. That felt a bit sorrowful," he shared calmly.
After hearing Park Gun's story, Yoon Tae-jin said, "You're doing really well now," and Kim Young-hee also comforted him, saying, "You've resolved your regrets," creating a warm atmosphere.
