
Broadcaster Lee Sang-min shares the behind-the-scenes story of his marriage on ‘My Little Old Boy’.
In the preview for the next episode of the SBS entertainment program ‘My Little Old Boy’ aired on the 4th, Lee Sang-min is seen announcing his marriage.
Lee Sang-min told Seo Jang-hoon and Kim Jun-ho, “I’m getting married. You guys need to be my witnesses,” to which Seo Jang-hoon responded in surprise, “Shouldn’t we know who you’re marrying?” Lee Sang-min then described his wife as “a person like an angel sent from heaven,” adding, “There was a decisive moment at the airport on the way back from a trip to Japan together.”
Afterward, Lee Sang-min completed his marriage registration with Seo Jang-hoon and Kim Jun-ho as witnesses. He also mentioned, “Since today is the day I’m getting married, I need to propose, so I plan to prepare the marriage registration form and the ring together,” capturing the moment of him choosing a diamond ring, which heightened curiosity for the next broadcast.
Lee Sang-min married singer-turned-broadcaster Lee Hye-young after an 8-year relationship in 2004, but they divorced the following year. Now, after about 20 years, he is remarrying. His wife is known to be a non-celebrity who is 10 years younger, and the couple completed their marriage registration on the 30th of last month, becoming legally married.
