The thrilling skinship between Yook Sungjae and Kim Jiyeon in ‘Gwigung’ has been captured, raising expectations for a romantic development.

SBS's Friday-Saturday drama ‘Gwigung’ (written by Yoon Soo-jung, directed by Yoon Seong-sik) is a fantasy romantic comedy about a shaman named Yeori who rejects the fate of a medium, and the Imugi, Kang Cheol, trapped in the body of Yeori's first love, Yoon Gap, who confronts the eight-legged ghost with a grudge against the royal family, leading to a tangled battle of body and soul.

The fresh romance between the Imugi and the shaman, oscillating between hatred and affection, the fast-paced developments that keep viewers glued, and the court mysteries along with a feast of K-monsters are generating hot buzz every day.

In the midst of this, the ‘Gwigung’ team has released stills that heighten expectations, showcasing the explosive pink tension between Imugi Kang Cheol (played by Yook Sungjae) and Yeori (played by Kim Jiyeon).

In the stills, Kang Cheol and Yeori are seen holding their breath together in a narrow palanquin that is barely half a pyeong. Yeori is covering Kang Cheol's mouth, and the look in Kang Cheol's eyes as he gazes at her creates a pink tension.

Additionally, Kang Cheol appears to be mesmerized as he gazes at Yeori's red lips, cautiously reaching out his hand. The tips of Kang Cheol's fingers seem to be on the verge of touching Yeori's lips, and the atmosphere inside the palanquin, filled with what feels like the heartbeat of both characters, makes the viewer's heart flutter.

It raises curiosity about the reason why the two are together in the palanquin and how their relationship will evolve.

Meanwhile, ‘Gwigung’ will air on the 2nd at 9:55 PM.
