On the broadcast of ENA and SBS Plus's real dating program ‘I Am Solo’ on the 23rd, the final selection results of ‘Solo Nara 25th Street’, which has been entangled in romance, were revealed. In the final selection, Youngsik-Mikyung and Sangcheol-Soonja chose each other without any surprises, while Oksoon, who was torn between Youngho and Gwangsoo, chose neither, hinting at a 'open ending' that suggests the romance will continue in reality, receiving support from viewers.
On the last night of ‘Solo Nara 25th Street’, the production team announced, “The solo men will choose their dates.” In response, Sangcheol chose Soonja, Gwangsoo chose Oksoon, and Youngcheol passed by Hyunsook, whom he had been pursuing, to go to Youngsook, whispering, “Let’s talk separately later.” Immediately after, he returned to Hyunsook to make his date choice, surprising everyone.
In response, Hyunsook expressed, “Thank you for choosing me, but I’m worried about what to talk about.” On the other hand, Youngsook felt disappointed, saying, “Honestly, I felt a bit resentful.” Following this, Youngsik chose Mikyung, Youngho chose Oksoon, and Youngsoo chose Youngja, leaving Youngsook once again to experience ‘lonely formalities’.
The only one to be chosen by two men, Oksoon had a conversation with Gwangsoo at a pretty café. After Gwangsoo, Youngho also visited Oksoon, presenting her with a bouquet of lilies resembling her and a handwritten letter. Oksoon smiled, saying, “Thank you for expressing it.” Following this, Oksoon went into her room and began writing a letter for someone.
Mikyung also prepared a blue bouquet as a surprise event for Youngsik. Youngsik gave Mikyung a drawing he made of himself on the shooting score sheet he received during their shooting date the day before. Youngsoo selected photos of Youngja taken at ‘Solo Nara 25th Street’ and wrote his feelings on the back of each one. The morning after Youngcheol had practically announced a breakup to Hyunsook, he returned to her, saying, “I regret it.” He asked, “Was there anything you wished for?” Hyunsook wondered, “Would it have been different if I had done the random date holding hands with you?” and suddenly broke down in tears. Youngcheol blamed himself, saying, “I think I messed everything up,” while Hyunsook was at a loss, asking, “Why am I crying?” Then she said, “I can’t talk anymore,” and went back to her room. Youngcheol confessed to Hyunsook, “The person next to you introduced himself as Lucky Guy, and I thought that would be me. We can’t be together due to realistic issues, but I sincerely wish for your future,” and then gave up on the final selection. Hyunsook also stated, “From now on, I want to follow my heart, not my head,” and chose no one. Youngsook, who was a ‘love rival’ to Hyunsook, also gave up on the final selection.
As expected, Youngsik and Mikyung chose each other, and Sangcheol and Soonja also became the final couple. Following this, Youngho and Gwangsoo both pursued Oksoon, but after handing the card she wrote that morning to both Youngho and Gwangsoo, Oksoon stated, “I think I need more time in reality,” and did not make a final selection.
