The spring music festival 'Have A Nice Day' has been completely canceled due to a strong wind forecast.
Mint Paper, the organizer of the 'Have A Nice Day' event, announced on their official website on the 11th, "We regret to inform you that 'Have A Nice Day', scheduled to take place at Incheon Sang Sang Platform on April 12-13, has been inevitably canceled due to a sudden strong wind forecast."
They added, "According to the weather agency's forecast, it does not deviate from the previously announced rain clause; however, strong winds equivalent to a small typhoon are expected to affect Incheon and the surrounding metropolitan area throughout the weekend."
They explained, "Especially since Sang Sang Platform is adjacent to the sea, the winds are generally stronger than in other areas, which raises serious concerns about safety at outdoor events, including the risk of falling objects and other unexpected situations. Additionally, the relevant authorities in the jurisdiction that need to cooperate have also expressed great concern about the strong wind forecast," leading to the urgent decision to cancel.
The production team expressed, "We were also very much looking forward to this large-scale event prepared in a new location after a long time. We had made thorough preparations on-site, and at the point where all settings, including production and events, were completed, with only artist rehearsals and performances left, the disappointment of having to cancel suddenly is even greater."
Finally, they bowed their heads and said, "We sincerely apologize to the audience who have taken precious time to wait for 'Have A Nice Day' and to the artists and staff who have prepared with us for a long time."
Meanwhile, 'Have A Nice Day' was set to feature performances by Roy Kim, Paul Kim, MeloMance, N.Flying, Stella Jang, May, Ha Dong-kyun, Hwang Ga-ram, Beom Jin, Min Seo, Woo Seok, Ha Hyun-sang, So Ran, 10CM, Hong Yi-sak, So Soo-bin, Han Ro-ro, and Jung Se-woon.
