Due to the scheduling changes caused by the special coverage related to President Yoon Suk-yeol's impeachment verdict, 'Bunny and the Brothers' will begin its first broadcast.
The new MBC Friday-Saturday drama 'Bunny and the Brothers' (written by Seong So-eun and Lee Seul, directed by Kim Ji-hoon) will premiere at 9:50 PM on the 11th. It is a romance drama that depicts Bunny's search for a boyfriend as she gets entangled with attractive men after her first love becomes a dark history.
Based on the webtoon of the same name serialized on KakaoPage from September 2019 to October 2023, it is based on a popular original that recorded a cumulative 170 million views. The script is written by Seong So-eun, who penned 'Twenty Twenty', and Lee Seul, who wrote 'Love Playlist', 'XX', and 'Dear M', adding to the anticipation.
In addition, the cast includes No Jung-ui as the second-year art student Ban Hee-jin (Bunny), who excels in everything except love; Lee Chae-min as Hwang Jae-yeol, the top student in visual design with a refreshing appearance and charisma; and Jo Joon-young as Cha Ji-won, a handsome third-generation chaebol, all of whom are young actors with 100% synchronization to captivate the audience.
'Bunny and the Brothers' was originally scheduled to premiere on the 4th. However, when the Constitutional Court decided to announce the verdict on President Yoon's impeachment case on that day, MBC postponed the first broadcast of 'Bunny and the Brothers' by a week to accommodate the special coverage.
At the production presentation held on the 3rd, director Kim Ji-hoon stated, "I can't dare to say that I'm disappointed about the scheduling." He added, "We worked hard under the given circumstances, and we are showing the results. I think it turned out well, and I am positively thinking about it," expressing confidence in the work and increasing expectations.
'Bunny and the Brothers', depicting a fresh and exciting campus romance that anyone in their early twenties might dream of at least once, will premiere at 9:50 PM on the 11th.
