DJ Bae Cheol-soo expressed his disappointment at not being able to meet Coldplay this year.
On the 25th, a press conference for the 35th anniversary of MBC Radio's 'Bae Cheol-soo's Music Camp' was held at the new MBC building in Sangam-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul. Bae Cheol-soo, PD Nam Tae-jung, and writer Bae Soon-tak were present at the event.
'Bae Cheol-soo's Music Camp' is one of the programs frequently visited by stars coming to Korea. Over the years, global stars such as Beyoncé, Dua Lipa, Britney Spears, and Rihanna have graced the show.
However, this year, the meeting between Coldplay and Bae Cheol-soo did not materialize. PD Nam stated, "The senior is too busy to meet," and Bae Cheol-soo responded with disappointment, saying, "I will be on vacation."
He continued, "I met Chris Martin from Coldplay a long time ago. When I saw them perform in Singapore during a joint concert with Travis in their rookie days, I thought, 'That guy is going to be a star,' and he did. Please pass that story along if you meet him," he joked.
'Bae Cheol-soo's Music Camp' airs every day at 6 PM on MBC FM4U.
