Actor Lee Ji-hoon has perfectly transformed into a corrupt prosecutor.

In Disney Plus's original series 'Trigger' (written by Kim Gi-ryang, directed by Yoo Seon-dong), Lee Ji-hoon plays the role of prosecutor Lee Jeong-geun, who accepts all kinds of unjust requests, leaving a strong impression on viewers despite his brief appearance.

'Trigger' tells the story of relentless investigative reporters who aim to expose the wrongdoings of bad people in this beautiful world. In the episode involving the stalking case of Choi Ho-sung (played by Lee Hae-woo), stalking reminiscent of Choi Ho-sung's criminal methods, who is serving a 30-year sentence, reoccurs, prompting the Trigger team to protect the victim and track down the suspect.

Everyone was shocked to learn that Choi Ho-sung, who was thought to be incarcerated, had received a suspension of his sentence. Prosecutor Lee Jeong-geun (played by Lee Ji-hoon) had approved the suspension using a fake medical certificate. The fact that this was orchestrated by a colleague of the teacher who idolized Choi Ho-sung intensified the shock, leading the Trigger team to prepare a follow-up report focusing on the loopholes in the judicial cartel's sentence suspension system.

Prosecutor Lee Jeong-geun's corruption did not stop there. To steer public opinion towards the idea that the deaths of the Han Group's father and daughter, who seemed to be in cahoots with Jo Jin-man (played by Choi Dae-hoon), were caused by undue pressure from aggressive reporting, he conspired with CEO Koo to contribute to the abolition of 'Trigger' and summoned Oh So-ryong (played by Kim Hye-soo) for defamation charges.

Lee Ji-hoon, who has showcased his ability to embody characters as if they were tailor-made for him through his solid acting skills, perfectly portrayed the character of prosecutor Lee Jeong-geun in 'Trigger' by demonstrating a character with a flawed personality who indulges in violent behavior and abuses power, simply through his dismissive gaze and expressions.

Having established his presence as a despicable prosecutor, Lee Ji-hoon is set to showcase a different charm in the new MBC Friday-Saturday drama 'Bunny and Brothers,' which is scheduled to premiere in April. He will play the role of Ban Young-min, the father of Ban Hee-jin (played by Noh Jeong-ui), who is not only a master chef but also excels in household chores, igniting competition among the housewives around him, and is expected to portray a devoted father with top-notch domestic skills.
