Studio Slam, a label of global IP powerhouse SLL (CEO Yoon Hyun-jun), has confirmed Lee Hyori as the MC for the new makeup survival program 'Top Class Makeup Survival - Just Makeup' (hereafter 'Just Makeup').
‘Just Makeup’ (planned by Yoon Hyun-jun, directed by Shim Woo-jin) is the world's first full-fledged makeup survival program featuring not only top domestic artists representing K-beauty but also renowned makeup experts and emerging beauty creators active overseas. In particular, the participation of Lee Hyori, a self-proclaimed beauty icon of South Korea who has led various trends, has heightened expectations as she joins as the main MC. Since her debut, Lee Hyori has continuously presented her own style and trends, establishing herself as an icon leading trends not only in music but also in the beauty field.
The new makeup survival 'Just Makeup' has received tremendous interest from domestic and international makeup artists and creators since its early production stages, leading to a flood of applications. The recently confirmed lineup of top-tier participants includes celebrity makeup artists, global beauty influencers, and experts from various fields, which is expected to enhance communication with K-beauty fans worldwide and elevate the global status of K-beauty.
Studio Slam of SLL has emerged as a global production company after successfully producing various genres of content, including 'Singer Gain' and the 'Crime Scene' series, and last year’s Netflix hit 'Black and White Chef: Cooking Class War.' This 'Just Makeup' is also expected to serve as an opportunity to showcase the excellence and creativity of Korean makeup artists to the world, beyond just a competition.
‘Just Makeup’ is set to meet global viewers through major domestic and international platforms in the second half of 2025.
